PAL Boxing Program
PAL and Boxing are synonymous dating back to the 1930's.  In Brick Township, the boxing
program was one of the major forces behind the building of the PAL Youth Center.  Offering
a full size gym, heavy bags, speed bags, and a full 20 x 20 ring, the PAL Boxing Program has
all of the amenities a prospective boxer would want.

The Brick PAL is a member of the United States Boxing Association, and all of our coaches
are USA Boxing Certified.

Programs are offered for both youth and adults,  with an emphasis on skill building and
development.  PAL Boxers complete a 6 week training course, and then move on to
sparring.  The goal is to develop quality Junior Olympic and Amateur Boxers.

The gym is open on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings.  Wednesday and Saturday are
conditioning days.  For more information, contact the PAL Office at (732) 477-0144 or email
us.

and Painter in 1995, at their Toms River Boxing Club, where Bob and his son trained.  Bob was extremely
impressed with the coaching skills and personal interest these men had in their boxers.  When the gym
closed in 1999 they separated, but reunited in2004 after learning the two were coaching at the PAL.  Both
Bob and his son began to train at the PAL, and Bob eventually volunteered to assist the staff.   Bob feels
